Tomorrow, I’m heading to Jackson (Hole), Wyoming for a three day “back-country” camping trip. I’ve got my tent, “wonderful” tasting dry food, camera gear and most importantly bear spray. But, before I go, I want to give one lucky person a cool camera strap. Say, John, I’m really in need of a stupendous, strong and cool camera strap! Not for me, no I’ll get by with what comes with my camera. It would be for my friend Suzanne, who uses a sweet little Canon and takes such wonderful pictures I keep trying to get her to submit them here for you to see. She also has (and is quite attached to) 4 pygmy goats and 36 chickens of various strange varieties, and loves taking photos of them. She’s done some really nice photos of her family members too, and her camera has no strap. So, you see, she really needs this, and I know it’s a random drawing and all, but I just hoped putting this out into the universe would help her chances. As always, thanks for your blog — I’m not much of a photographer, but I learn from everything you post, and always snag the calendar wallpapers. I just wish you’d also offer them without the calendar so I could continue to use them after their designated month.
I’ve kind of been collecting camera straps lately, so I’d really like to get another one. Now if I could only convince my wife to let me get a camera body for all of my straps…

You mean you can have a strap without the camera’s make and model printed on it? I have never heard of such a thing! LOL Would love one for my mechanical appendage. After all Style is what separates us from the crowd! (My son absolutely loves the guitar straps too.)

My new Nikon D90 would love a pretty new strap. We just got back from Alaska and everywhere we went the black strap dominated all pics of me. We got some fabulous wild animal shots, and awesome wide angle glacier views. Never enough time so will have to go back again soon with a fabulous new strap on my fancy camera for more great shots!

Camera straps are a very good thing!
I’d like a chance at that strap, young man… so I can be a strappin’ young man, too… just like you! (even if i don’t have a clue what i’m getting… i couldn’t get past their homepage today)… it’s sure to be cool… so as I sit on my stool… i feel like a fool… askin’ for a strappin’… yet it’s a useful tool… so make me drool, young man… and pick me!

Whenever I have spare time I’m always torn between my camera and my guitar. My Guitar already has a beautiful hand made strap my camera is a little jealous.
I would love the gift of a super cool, creative, outside-the-box, colorful camera strap so that I can pay the blessing forward!
I’d want to give it to a girl that I finished raising, Kyle. She was in and out of foster homes and generally a battle-worn, hurt, untrusting 16 yr old. I was a 21 year old new mom and wife. I took her out of her last foster home and she lived with us for a few more years. She is funny, thoughtful, kind, loving, and wow – a fantastic artist! She was like a flower starved for water and sun. She allowed us into her heart and life, and she just blossomed. It was a lot of work on both our parts, but she did it! She took control and healed her life.
She is in her early 30s now, married to a great guy, and they have two sons. I am a photographer and through constant sharing art, she has now picked up her first camera and taken a class. She is a fantastic landscape photographer!!
She has been such a blessing in my life, and I’d love nothing more than to buy a great camera strap for her and show her that I love her and support her journey into photography – she deserves all the good life has to offer.
I’d LOVE to have a super groovy camera strap simnply because I do not have one at all and I use my camera a lot . . . a strap would make it so much easier to keep track of my camera! Aug 12 is my birthday, so it would be an awesom birthday gift! Thanks for this! Sandra

Holly Cow !! Man I sure would like to get my hands on one of those fancy schmancy Souldier straps!! Just starting to get in to photography, using an old Nikon F2 and a new strap would jazz it up a little come in handy.

I don’t have a strap and would love to have one to allow me to carry my camera with me everywhere. Kinda of like a “photo walk” every day. I work for a living but photography is my PASSION! Some day I won’t have to work. Always believe dreams do come true♦!
