Kajsa here, and I’ve got a question for you all. I’ve been helping John with his blog for a few weeks now, and it’s about time I get a better sense for the crowd that follows him. I’ve seen the polls and responses that he’s posted before, so I’m going to post one of my own. Today I want to ask how important your viewer’s reaction is to your work:

I have been taking photos since is was a kid. Professionally for 5 years in the military and still as an amateur I still take photos (with film cameras) for myself to satisfy myself. I feel that I am my worst/best critique. And for that reason I still shoot. I hope to soon turn to digital as film processing has become very expensive and with the technology finally reaching a level that I can accept for myself I am looking forward to the changeover.
Absolutely! Its a passion that I didnt realize I had until recently. And as it is right now, only my friends and family see my photos anyway.
Photography is my passion. I don't care if any body likes it or not. I will keep taking at it.
Great reason….

I picked my camera up after it collected dust for about 5yrs. Now it travels everywhere I go. I don’t leave home without it!
