The week ahead

Well, today is feeling a bit more like Spring then let’s say….yesterday. :)   This weekend I head to New York City  for a few days and then to Washington D.C.  I’m really looking forward to visiting D.C.  I’ve never been  before, and I’m looking forward to photographing our Capital – especially during the National Cherry Blossom Festival.  I’m only hoping that  Mother Nature cooperates so  I might actually see some blossoms.   Moving on…  we had a ton of great ideas for our next photo contest and I want to thank everyone for sharing their thoughts. This April we will be featuring Penny McKay Barnett’s theme of “What Spring Brings” so look for details of the contest on April 1st.

A few brief updates going into the week:

We still have a few spots available for this June’s Chicago workshop.  To read more about the workshop click HERE and if you have any questions feel free to drop me a line at john@batdorffphotography.com

Tomorrow:  I’ll be doing another “Making of the Image” series focusing a few small tweaks in Lightroom that can help improve your image.
