I’m packing up and getting ready to leave for Montana. If I time everything right, I should be in Montana in time to photograph the Ennis rodeo, which is always a good time. My big goal this summer, besides putting on a killer workshop in Yellowstone, is to dedicate some serious time to my landscape photography. I can’t wait to spend endless hours exploring Yellowstone, and my intention this year is to focus on my medium format work. I’ll be in Montana for nearly two months, so it should give me plenty of time to make images, and hopefully get a few right in the process.
I won’t be blogging much until I get settled, so don’t plan on too much from me this week. I am looking for a few more good questions to fuel my Q&A Friday series, so if you have a question about photography make sure to drop me a note on the blog.
Yellowstone Workshop:
If you’re interested in joining me and an intimate group this August in Yellowstone for my two day seminar then check it out HERE or drop me a note using the form below. The seminar should be a blast and a great learning experience for all those involved. I’d be happy to answer any questions about it as well, so feel free to email me. Due to a cancellations there are two spots available, and if you and a friend sign up together, you each get 10% off the total price. So hurry, it’s going to be tons of fun!
Wishing everyone a Great Monday!

Good luck and enjoy Yellowstone. May it be a productive summer.
Thanks…Can’t wait to get there.
Oops – I just realized I sent my comment on the “Contact Form” for the Yellowstone Workshop. Sorry about that!
Have a safe and wonderful trip. Can’t wait to see the images you capture.
You mentioned using a medium format camera and I’m curious as to which one you are using and if you’ve used one before or if it’s new to you.
Happy trails!

While you are doing your workshop in Yellowstone, we will be Chicago. How I wish I could be in two places at the same time!
Wishing you a productive and relaxing summer in Montana and looking forward to seeing your images.
