Please join Craig Ferguson and me on this eight-day photo workshop to Southern China that will be jam-packed with amazing photographic opportunities for the travel photographer.
Our trip will begin in Guilin, one of China’s most popular scenic cities, with a history of more than 2,000 years. This area in China is known for the Karst mountains, which create a stunning backdrop for landscape photography. We will also be traveling to nearby cities including Longshen to explore terraced rice paddies that were built by minority cultures hundreds of years ago. In Yongshuo we’ll visit the international markets on West Street and have a chance to enjoy and photograph the local citizens as they perform a traditional show on the Li River.
We are keeping the group size to 10 people to ensure a positive, one-on-one learning experience with a small professional to participant ratio. We worked with local tourism experts to choose the best lodging in the area and will have local, bilingual guides to help us navigate this beautiful region. Craig is a freelance environmental, culture and travel photographer who resides in Taiwan and has a deep love of this region. He also happens to be a heck of a nice guy.
This will be the experience of a lifetime, so I hope you’ll check out the details here and join us for what I’m sure will be an amazing trip. See you in Guilin!
